Making Changes to your Credit Report

Your credit report holds a variety of informationm  This information is collected from different sources and it is very important all the information in your credit report is accurate. If any of the information is incorrect it will adversely affect you ability to obtain a loan.

If a bankruptcy order is made against you and is later cancelled, or when the bankruptcy order is discharged then it becomes your responsibility to send a copy of the annulment certificate to the Credit Reference Agencies.

If your bankruptcy has been annulled there should be no record of it in your credit report but if your bankruptcy has been discharged it is noted as such in your credit report. 

If you have any question about ant information that is recorded in the credit report then you should contact the relevant agency immediately..

It is important that read all the credit account details and that it is all correct. Check all the information on any credit cards, loans, mortgages etc that you hold.  You should check that all the I information that is provided is correct.

If you find that any of the information is incorrect or if you want to lagitimately change any of the information then you need to contact the lender concerned in writing requesting them to provide the correct information to the credit agency. There may be a listing of the links between your previous address and the address that you use for correspondence. This link will always prevail and it gets broken only when reference agencies are told to do so by the organizations that created the link.
