What Information is on your Credit Report
Information that is available in your credit report:
- Personal Identifiable Information- including details like your name, social security number, address(both previous and current), contact number (telephone, mobile, pager etc), date of birth, name of spouse, employer information etc.
- Credit History - includes information on how you pay your bills due to the bank, any retail store, mortgage companies and finance companies. It also includes detailed information on your account and most importantly how much credit you have in it. It shows if you have paid your bills on time and the frequency with which you miss payments.
- Public Records - includes any information of any bankruptcies, court visits and judgments and also tax line ups.
- Statement of Dispute -includes any report you have made challenging some information in your credit report. Usually both the lender and the one lent to are allowed to make statements regarding such disputes.
